A hobby with a view
My uncle Rustam is an engineer, but at the weekend he has a very different life: he goes hang-gliding. He took it up three years ago, after a holiday in the Alps. He says he regrets only one thing — he wishes he hadn’t waited so long!
There are no mountains near our town, so every Saturday he drives for an hour to the hills. My grandma doesn’t approve of his hobby. "Why can’t you just listen to music or watch television like everybody else?" she asks.
But my uncle can’t wait to fly again every week. Next summer he’s going to the UK to fly over the sea, and I’m looking forward to seeing the photos. Maybe one day I’ll feel like trying it too.
